G10/FR4 Glass Epoxy Materials

G10-FR4 / *MICARTA®/ GAROLITE:

SHEETS, TUBES, and RODS plus Machining - Fabricating capabilities.

G10 FR4 laminate grades are produced by inserting continuous glass woven fabric impregnated with an epoxy resin binder while forming the sheet under high pressure. This material is used extensively in the electronics industry because its water absorption is extremely minimal and the G10 line of materials is not electrically conductive. The G10 FR4 is most commonly used in PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) applications.  G10 exhibits superior mechanical and dimensional stability and doesn't shrink. Temperature ratings of 180 degrees C. In addition to these properties, G10/FR4 has excellent dielectric loss properties, and great electrical strength. The difference between Grades G10 and FR4 is that FR4 is a fire retardant grade of G10.  FR4 (also known as Garolite) can be substituted where G10 is specified; G10 can never be substituted for FR4.   G10 is also known as Micarta and Garolite and can be used for structural supports, buss bars, mechanical insulation, gears, test fixtures, washers, spacers and tight tolerance machined parts for electromechanical assemblies.

CRYOGENIC G10 SHEET

G10 CR, CryogenicDescription: IPC GRADE / CRYOGENIC GRADE G10 is an electrical and mechanical grade of glass cloth laminate impregnated and cured with a non-brominated epoxy resin. Also referred to as G10-CR, G10 CR conforms  to Mil Spec Mil-I-24768/2 Type GEE . G-10 CR contains no halogens and can be used in nuclear and space applications.  Cryogenic G10.      |PRICES|

NEMA G10 ROD

G10 RodDescription:  G10 Rod is a continuous woven glass fabric laminated with an epoxy resin. This G10 Rod grade is extremely high in mechanical strength, has low moisture absorption and dissipation factors, and has superior electrical characteristics which are exhibited over a wide range of temperatures and humidity.   |PRICES|

NEMA G10 FR-4 TUBE

G10 TubeDescription:  Nema Grade G10/FR4 tubing is an electrical-grade epoxy resin system combined with a glass fabric substrate, cast to a specific size and either formed or ground down to the desired specifications. G10 tubes also offer excellent chemical resistance and electrical properties under dry and humid conditions. Grade G-10/FR4  tube is flame retardant and at 300 degrees F retains 25% of its flexural strength while maintaining all of its electrical properties.  |PRICES|

G10 BLACK, RED, BLUE & GREEN

black g10, blue g10, tan g10, green g10Description: G10 is also available in many different colors.  Black, Blue, Brown, Orange, Red and Green.  All G10 Materials can be laminated with copper to form a PC board for light blocking, night vision and aerospace applications.  The Colored G10 material is available in a solid color throughout and a 50% natural and 50% color configuration.  G10 (Micarta) materials are also used in the manufacture of knife handle blanks and pistol stocks.   |PRICES|

COPPER CLAD FR4

copper clad fr4 g10Description: Copper Clad G10 FR4 is a printed circuit board material.  The Copper Clad PCB consists of a core of glass epoxy with a fiberglass cloth binder to give the material its rigidity and electrical insulation characteristics  The copper is electro-deposited onto the FR4 substrate creating seamless, durable and permanent bond.  Copper clad Fr4 is available in 1/2 oz weights up to 6 ounce weights.  We also supply select sizes in 4 ft x 8ft sheets which makes us unique in the market.   |PRICES|

machined g10 partAs G10 FR4 is a plastic material, it can be fabricated to tight tolerances for medical and aerospace production parts.  Cryogenic G10 CR can be machined into text fixtures for laboratory use and physics experiments.  G10 material has superior mechanical properties allowing to hold details of threads and thin features for demanding isolation applications.  G10 FR4 material is primarily used in the PCB industry.  It can be used as dielectric gaskets for low noise blocking devices and phase shifters.

G10 Washers

A more common application for thin G 10 material is G10 washers available in many different metric and standard sizes.
