G10 COLORS
COLORED G10 is a fire rated electrical-grade, dielectric fiberglass laminate resin system combined with a glass fabric substrate with a COLOR pigment added for light blocking and aesthetics. G10 in colors is also commonly used on knife handles and handgun/pistol stocks. Colored G10 is a rugged, durable glass epoxy that has minimal wear over extended use. Another use for electrical applications is for mounting LEDs and night vision equipment or where the PC board is exposed to the end user.
Black G10 and other Colors
G10 in colors is well suited for knife handles, knife handle blanks and g-10 laminate knife handle materials.
The G10 is available in many different colors. Black, Blue, Orange, Red, Tan and Green. The colored G10 material is an extremely durable composite using layers of fiberglass soaked in resin then compressed under high heat and high temperature. This process makes the g-10 composite resistant to moisture or liquid and mechanically stable under environmental changes.
